Florida Man Crashes Car Into Restaurant, Orders Breakfast

Published January 07, 2015

Fox News

An elderly Florida man apparently wouldn't let anything come between him and his breakfast — not even the wall of building where he planned to eat it.

Charles Pierce, 92, plowed his sedan into the side of Biscuit's "N" Gravy and More restaurant in Port Orange, Fla., local news station WESH reported. Investigators suspect he stepped on the gas instead of the brake.

Rather than panic, Pierce got out of his car and placed his order, then asked if anyone was hurt before digging in, the station reported.

Officials told WESH there were no major injuries, and the estimated $25,000 worth of damage didn't cause any structural problems.

Pierce was cited, after breakfast, for careless driving, the station reported.
