Florida Jail Employees Accused of Having Sex With Inmates

Female employees at the main Broward County jail in Florida have been accused of having sex with inmates, Fox News affiliate WSVN reported.

Jail technician Kiara Walker, former deputy Salisia Pascoe, and former nurse Caroline Jean were under investigation for having sexual relationships with prison inmates.

"It's disgusting, it's deplorable, and I'm sickened that they would resort to this kind of behavior," Broward County Sheriff Al Lamberti told WSVN on Friday.

Walker is accused of smuggling an inmate a cell phone and sending him explicit photos and text messages.

Pascoe admitted to smuggling marijuana and a cell phone to an inmate she had sex with.

Jean admitted to investigators that she provided a cell phone to an inmate with sexually racy photos.

The Broward County Sheriff's investigation also led to the arrests of three inmates.
