Dallas hotel shooting: one person injured, shooter in custody

One person was injured following a shooting at a hotel in Far North Dallas on Monday.

The incident, involving Dallas SWAT, started at 2 p.m. at the Wyndham Hotel but wound up stretching past two hours. The person who was injured did not have life-threatening injuries, police told FOX 4.

The suspect was taken into custody.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the standoff at the hotel. The incident prompted a partial evacuation of the hotel tower.
