A 7-year-old fighting leukemia got to patrol the streets of Arlington, Texas with Batman for a day as part of a local charity program, myFOXdfw reports.

Kye Sapp's dream was to be Batman for a day, and so the Arlington Police and Fire Departments teamed up with local organization Wish with Wings to make his wish happen.

On Saturday Kye dressed in a Batman outfit and, along with an older Batman, fought the Joker, the Riddler and nabbed a purse snatcher.

At the end of the day he was awarded a key to the city of Arlington. Kye said his elementary pals were "amazed" when he showed them the key.

Kye says he hopes to become a policeman when he grows up.
