2 students injured in stabbing at Maryland high school

One Maryland student suffered a punctured lung and another had minor cuts Tuesday following a fight at their high school, WJLA.com reported.

Two students reportedly squared off at about 7:40 a.m. inside Frederick Douglass High School in Upper Marlboro. One of the juveniles pulled out a knife and reportedly stabbed another student. The student with the knife also reportedly suffered minor cuts.

The student who pulled the knife is in custody, and the student who was stabbed is expected to recover. The school is not on lockdown, police told WUSA9.
