Two people sustained minor injuries when a freight train crashed into a stationary rail car Tuesday morning in Ohio, derailing an engine and 10 cars.

A CSX train carrying cargo boxes bound for a Honda plant collided with the stationary car for an unknown reason around 10 a.m., according to the Columbus Dispatch.

The two people transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville were reportedly in stable condition. Both of the injured people were CSX employees.

Some fuel was spilled when the crash occurred, but the train wasn't carrying any hazardous materials, the Dispatch reported.

The subsequent derailment closed Scottslawn Road, according to Assistant Police Chief Tony Brooks.
