Storms pack a punch in the Northwest

A couple of storms moving into the Pacific Northwest into Intermountain West and Rockies will bring heavy possibly flooding rainfall and widespread mountain snow.

Some of the energy from this active pattern across the Northwest will combine with another system later this week and produce another pretty powerful storm with heavy rain, possibly severe storms and snow Thursday into the weekend for the eastern half of the country.
