And now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine...
O Come, Emanuel
Former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel testified today in the dispute over whether he is eligible to run for mayor of Chicago.
Opponents say he should not be on the February ballot because he lived in Washington for nearly two years.
Emanuel's attorneys argue that he owns a home, pays property taxes and votes in Chicago.
Another wrinkle is a video posted on YouTube displaying Emanuel's home as "for sale."
The online tour was put together for a real estate agent and includes views of the rooms set to piano music.
But Emanuel's camp tells a local Chicago TV station there was a "typo." "The house was never for sale -- only for rent."
Tomb Raiders
Houston police are looking for seven alleged grave robbers who tried to cash in by stealing from a cemetery.
Authorities say the robbers took about 400 brass urns and sold them as scrap metal.
A local law requires scrap metal dealers to collect information from each customer, so police have issued warrants for the suspects who could each face up to 20 years in prison.
Putin' On a Show
He's not exactly the neighborhood wedding singer, but Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin crooned a heartfelt rendition of "Blueberry Hill" in English during a charity event over the weekend.
Not sure if he'd make it on Russia's version of "American Idol," but Putin did receive a standing ovation from the crowd.
