A reporter riding a D.C. Metro bus snapped a photo of the driver reading in traffic in the latest case of riders capturing Metro employees breaking the rules, MyFOXDC.com has reported.
Reporter J.P. Freire was riding the bus in the rain during the rush-hour commute when he noticed the driver reaching into his bag and reading a book during traffic.
"He would look up and keep the book there and continue looking down," Freire told MyFOX DC.
The bus did not get into an accident, but the incident comes in the wake of a Red Line crash that left nine people dead.
Metro officials say they welcome riders' videos and photos of drivers doing wrong.
