Report: Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis Had Minor Surgeries After 'Sex' Movie

Published January 13, 2015

Fox News

Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis had minor surgeries after the release of the "Sex and the City" movie, the New York Post's Page Six gossip column reported.

"Cynthia had a breast augmentation and soon after, Kristin had the varicose veins on her legs removed," an insider told Page Six. "They both made sure they did it on the quietest day of the week."

A representative for Nixon, who had an almost-nude scene in the movie, denied the surgery to Page Six. Davis' rep had no comment.

Slender-but-curvy Davis, 43, recently told Health magazine that she gave up on being super-skinny, striving instead to be healthy and energetic.

"I think life is too short — and, frankly, I love chocolate. There was a certain point when I realized: You know what? I’m just not going to be the thinnest actress out there. There’s always going to be a thinner girl. I don’t think you get parts based on being the thinnest girl. I don’t think you fall in love based on being the thinnest girl."

Nixon, 42, recently revealed that she successfully battled breast cancer two years ago.
