The news that is not White House approved...
It's Back…
With the bipartisan summit on health care quickly approaching, the issue is officially back on the table. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius marched over to MSNBC to reveal what the administration has in mind, and let's just say, it doesn't sound too bipartisan.
When asked whether the administration would fight for a government-run option, here is what Sebelius said:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
KATHLEEN SEBELIUS, HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES SECRETARY: Certainly, if it is part of the decision of the Senate leadership to move forward, absolutely. And the president said from the outset, he thought that was a great way to provide cost reduction and competition.

They said the election Scott Brown was a message to the Democrats. Well, guess what? Apparently they didn't get the message.
Sweetheart Deal
It may be obvious that Pennsylvania Democrat Arlen Specter won the affection of the Obama administration when he ditched the Republican Party last year and now we're learning the lengths that they're willing to go to keep him.
Specter's Democratic primary challenger Congressman Joe Sestak told a local radio talk show host that the White House offered him a high-level job to drop out of the race and clear the way for Specter. But Sestak told the Philadelphia Inquirer, "I'm not going to say who or how or what was offered, I don't feel it's appropriate to go beyond what I said."
The White House is denying all of these, but I think I'm going to take Sestak's word for it.
Wrong Again, Robert
Our Great Moment in Liberal Foreign Policy is brought to you by the White House propaganda minister, the one and only Robert Gibbs.
This administration has been continuously naive when it comes to dealing with the regime in Tehran. Just last week, Gibbs scoffed at the regime's warning that it was enriching uranium at 20 percent purity:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ROBERT GIBBS, WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY: Quite frankly, what Ahmadinejad says — he says many things and many of them turn out to be untrue. We do not believe they have the capability to enrich to the degree to which they now say they are enriching.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
As it turns out, the International Atomic Energy Agency feels differently. The agency confirmed in its latest report that Iran is in fact enriching uranium to the 20 percent level. According to the report, "This raises concerns about the possible existence in Iran of past or current undisclosed activities related to the development of a nuclear payload for a missile."
You know what, Robert? Maybe if the president sends another videotaped message over to the mullahs, the powers that be over in Tehran will start listening just because you are a nice guy.
Earning His Wings
An update on former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney's airplane confrontation with a fellow passenger. The identity of that passenger who was reportedly physical and threatened the governor has now been discovered. He's rap artist Sky Blu, a member of the group LMFAO.
Mr. Blu even made a video diary recording his version of the day's events:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SKY BLU, RAPPER: I'm trying to adjust myself so I can go to sleep because I'm very tired, you know what I mean? I'm just too upright so boom, lean back — like Fat Joe. And I see this guy, he's, "Sir, sir, put your seat up!" So I took my jacket off my head and I looked back and he says, again, "Sir, put your seat up!" Even more louder and a little more angry towards me. So I was like, "Are you serious? What did I do to you," you know what I'm saying? I mean you ask nicely I'll put it up, but with that — address how you're talking to me, I don't understand that. Then, you know I'm looking at him, then all of a sudden I saw him reach over and he grabs my shoulder, "Sir, put your seat up!" And I just react boom, you know, get off of me.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
I guess we can just be happy that neither party was injured in the altercation.
