Moving Vans Arrive at Michael Jackson's Mansion

Two moving vans pulled up Saturday to the rented Los Angeles mansion where Michael Jackson spent his final days, and his pop star sister, Janet Jackson, also arrived at the home in her Bentley.

Eight movers took dollies and other moving equipment into the mansion, reportedly taking some of his children's possessions and some of the singer's prized belongings.

The singer's possessions were being removed from the house for safekeeping, People magazine reported, due to concern that someone could break into the home.

Jackson family members were gathered at their Encino, Calif., compound to discuss funeral arrangements for the King of Pop, who stopped breathing Thursday at his Holmby Hills estate and later was declared dead at UCLA Medical Center.

A public memorial is an option being considered by the family, brother Tito Jackson told TMZ . He also told the celebrity news Web site that Michael Jackson's three children are with the family and are in "good spirits."

The Los Angeles Coroner's Office said Friday that its autopsy is completed, but it could be four to six weeks before authorities will rule on Jackson's cause of death, following additional test results.

Initially, Jackson's family said the pop music icon had gone into cardiac arrest, and speculation has been swirling since then that Jackson's death was brought on by a dangerous coctail of prescription drugs, from Demerol to common antidepressants.

The Coroner's officer confirmed that Jackson, 50, had been taking prescription drugs but wouldn't say whether an overdose was suspected in his death.

Authorities released the body to Jackson's family late Friday night after holding it a secure crypt so no photos would leak to the media.
