Kidder, Reeve to Be Reunited on 'Smallville'

Lois, meet Lois and Lana.

Margot Kidder (search), who played gutsy reporter Lois Lane in the four "Superman" movies will guest star in at least two episodes of "Smallville" (search) this season. The part will reunite her with Christopher Reeve (search), who played Superman in the films and appears on the show as an eccentric scientist named Dr. Swann.

On the show, Kidder will play an emissary to Reeve's Dr. Swan in the season premiere. A young Lois Lane (Erica Durance) will also make her "Smallville" debut on the episode.

The episode will also reunite Kidder with Annette O'Toole, who plays Clark Kent's mom on "Smallville." O'Toole played Clark's high-school love interest in 1983's "Superman III" — a part now played on "Smallville" by Kristin Kreuk.

"Smallville" follows the adventures of a young Clark Kent before he becomes Superman.
