Ex-Stripper Drops $25M Suit Against Oscar De La Hoya Over Drag Photos

Published January 13, 2015

A former stripper dropped her $25 million suit against Oscar De La Hoya on Monday after experts concluded photos of the super welterweight champ in drag that she claimed were real had been digitally doctored, the New York Daily News reported.

"Oscar's always claimed the photos were false," the boxer's lawyer, Judd Burstein, told the News. "We had experts conclude that they were doctored. She was facing very large damages and so she agreed to drop the case. ... The case would have been dismissed anyway."

Salvatore Strazzullo, the lawyer for former stripper Milana Dravnel, told the News: "No comment."

Dravnel, 22, sued De La Hoya for slander, claiming his camp urged her to sign an agreement claiming she could not prove the photos were authentic.

Dravnel said the pictures of De La Hoya in fishnets, high heels and a tutu were taken at a Philadelphia hotel in May 2007.
