Baby With Four Arms, Four Legs Dies After Birth

An Indonesian woman gave birth to a baby girl who had four arms and four legs; it is being reported by South Africa’s Independent Online.

The baby girl, who was supposed to be a twin, died within hours after being born, said Wijayanti Utoyo, the director of the general hospital in Garuit, West Java.

“Because of an intrauterine problem, the separation process did not proceed well,” Utoyo said.

The baby had one head and one torso.

Utoyo said the mother, who is 24, suffered from malnutrition during the pregnancy.
