Tschudin gets first Australian title

Andrew Tschudin posted a six-under 64 on Sunday to come from behind and earn his first PGA of Australia victory.

"It isn't just about the $17,250 it is also about proving to myself that I could get the job done down the stretch and therefore if I get in a similar position in a OneAsia Tour Event etc., I can be confident that I can produce the same result," said Tschudin, who toiled on tour for 14 years before this win.

With heavy rain causing delays on Saturday and Sunday, the tournament was reduced to 54 holes. Tschudin finished at 11-under 199 and won by a single stroke at City Golf Club.

Second-round leader Andrew Martin missed a chip on the 18th to force a playoff. He signed for a two-under 68 and tied for second with Brody Ninyette, who carded a 67 on Sunday.
