The NFL has a growing number of Latino talent on the field, from players like Victor Cruz to coaches like Ron Rivera. With over 30 players recognized as having Latino roots this season, here are the starters to look out for.
The Oakland Raiders will announce their third-day draft selections from Mexico City on Saturday.
Oakland will play against the Houston Texans in Mexico City on Nov. 21.
The draft announcements for the fourth through seventh rounds will be part of the Raiders' Mexico City fan fest, a kickoff for the team's activities leading up to this fall's game at Azteca stadium.
Former Raiders stars Jim Plunkett and Lincoln Kennedy will join Televisa sports anchor Antonio de Valdes in announcing the picks from Azteca Stadium.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced their third-day selections from London in 2015 and will do so again this year.
According to the NFL office in Mexico, the Raiders are the sixth-most popular team in the country behind Pittsburgh, Dallas, New England, San Francisco and San Diego.
