Marinko Matosevic will compete for his first ATP title after winning a semifinal match Saturday at the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships.

The unseeded Australian qualifier, playing his first ever ATP-level semifinal, defeated Dudi Sela of Israel 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) in 2 hours and 54 minutes on the hardcourts at Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center.

Matosevic reached his first semifinal after knocking off former Delray Beach champ Ernests Gulbis.

The 26-year-old will face either top-seeded John Isner or seventh-seeded Kevin Anderson in Sunday's championship match.

The 2012 Delray Beach titlist will collect $75,780.
