Korea DPR made the biggest move in the Cola Women's World Rankings, which were released on Friday, as they jumped four spots to eighth after a disappointing showing at the 2011 Women's World Cup.
The top seven places in the rankings remained the same, with the United States holding a slight edge over second-place Germany, while Brazil, Japan, Sweden, England and France make up the rest of the top seven respectively.
Korea DPR was able to make the move after winning three games in qualification for the 2012 Olympics in London, dropping Norway (12th, down 2) to its lowest- ever position in the table since the rankings were introduced in 2003.
The next edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women's World Rankings will be released on Friday, December 23.
