Kjaer returns to Italy with Roma

Danish defender Simon Kjaer has returned to Serie A with Roma after spending one season in Germany with Wolfsburg.

The 22-year-old started 32 games in the Bundesliga for Wolfsburg last season, but he struggled to find the form that made him a highly-regarded young prospect after spending 2008-10 at Palermo.

Kjaer has been capped 16 times by Denmark in his international career, and his arrival in Rome on loan makes him the 14th new player signed by Luis Enrique.
