Kavcic moves on in Marseille

Marseille, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Monday's lone main-draw match at the Open 13 tennis event saw Slovenian Blaz Kavcic defeat Aussie wild card Thanasi Kokkinakis 6-4, 6-2 at Palais des Sports.

The top seeds this week in Marseille are French favorites Richard Gasquet and reigning champion Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who beat Czech Tomas Berdych in last year's marquee final to capture a second title here in five years. Gasquet will open his stay at this indoor hardcourt tournament against Kavcic.
