French runner keen to prove his worth at London Track and Field Games

Published November 20, 2014

Gregory Bauge has been in a class of his own this season and can't wait to take on his rivals at the London Olympics, saying that he feels like a tiger in a cage.

The powerful Frenchman is the favorite in the individual sprint after blowing the field apart earlier this year at the track world championships, where he did not lose a single leg in his sprint matches.

Bauge won a silver medal in the team sprint four years ago in Beijing and is now hoping to give France its first Olympic gold medal in the individual sprint in 40 years.
