Ex-NFL player and former Georgia football All-American Bacarri Rambo was arrested in Georgia Monday night on a rape charge, reports say.
Rambo was booked into the Clarke County Jail after 10 p.m. Monday, just days after Athens-Clarke County Police responded to a report of a rape Saturday morning at an apartment complex in dowtown Athens, where Rambo is listed as a resident, USA Today reported.

A police statement obtained by the outlet stated that the victim was a 21-year-old female and a student at the University of Georgia, where Rambo previously worked on the school’s football team support staff.
“The police department does not release the details of sexual assaults unless there are specific details that may provide safety information to the general public,” a police spokesperson told USA Today. “The department is not inclined to release further information on this case.”
