Good morning!
The President and his family are on their way back from Hawaii where they spent the holidays. At this time, there are no other public events on the President's schedule.
Tuesday, Mr. Obama will lead a meeting in the White House Situation Room regarding the attempted Christmas Day terror attack on a jetliner in Detroit.
Sunday, Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan told Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that there was “no smoking gun” in intelligence that would have stopped the accused terrorist, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, from boarding his flight from Amsterdam to Detroit with an explosive device.
"There was no piece of intelligence that said, 'This guy's a terrorist. He's going to get on a plane,'" Brennan said, but he acknowledged that there was a "failure to integrate and piece together those bits and pieces of information" that various government agencies had gathered about Abdulmutallab.

Participants in Tuesday's Situation Room meeting will include representatives from the following government agencies: Central Intelligence Agency, Director of National Intelligence, the Attorney General, Department of Homeland Security, National Counter-Terrorism Center, Transportation Security Agency, National Security Council and the State Department.
