Rick Perry Responds to Double Gaffe… and Makes a New One

Texas Governor Rick Perry Wednesday brushed aside criticism of his double-gaffe on the campaign trail.

In an interview with Fox&Friends, the presidential candidate said, "From time to time we all will get something wrong."

Perry has been facing heat for saying during a speech in New Hampshire on Tuesday, "Those of you that will be 21 by November the 12th, I ask for your support and your vote."

The legal voting age is 18. Election Day is November 6th.

The Governor accused critics of looking for little errors instead of talking about substantive issues like his plans for a flat tax or a part-time Congress.

Perry quoted his newest endorser, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, saying, "If they want a robot.. go to Japan and buy one."

In the same interview, however, Perry made a brand new slip-up, saying his campaign was going to take a strong approach as it gets "ready for those New Hampshire caucuses."

However, New Hampsire is famous for holding the "First in the Nation" primary election, not caucuses.
