POTUS shocked & and saddened by Iraq shooting

From the ongoing daily briefing:  Press Secretary Gibbs says he spoke to President Obama about the tragedy at a US base in  Iraq, this morning in which five service members were killed at a clinic.   The shooter is believed to be a US Army soldier.

Gibbs:  "First, [ the President] is obviously saddened to hear the news this morning from Camp Victory.  The President''s heart goes out to all the family and friends of all the service members involved in this horrible tragedy.  He was shocked by news of this incident and will press to ensure that we fully understand what happened at the clinic and that we are doing everything we can to ensure that our men and women in uniform are protected.   He plans on seeing sec gates this afternoon and will raise this matter then . "
