Forget classifieds. The Transportation Security Administration is now advertising for job openings on the top of pizza boxes in the Washington, D.C., region.
WTOP first reported that the ads for the full- and part-time openings at the airport security agency are appearing on the boxes of local pizza joints. The agency is hiring at Washington Reagan National Airport and Washington-Dulles International Airport.
"See yourself in a vital role for Homeland Security. Be part of a dynamic security team protecting airports and skies as you proudly secure your future," the ad says.
On the top, it says: "A career where X-ray vision and federal benefits come standard."
The new campaign comes at a time when TSA is tightening security procedures and introducing new screening technology following the failed bombing of a Detroit-bound flight on Christmas Day last year.
