Lady Gaga beats out the President in Race for 10 Million Facebook Fans

Lady Gaga crossed the finish line Friday in the unofficial race to become the first living person to hit the 10-million fan mark on Facebook. The sequined songstress posted a video on her page thanking “all the little monsters on Facebook” for their support.

Last week, President Obama's unofficial fan page had been closing in on the singer's Facebook site. Late Friday afternoon, the president’s unofficial page’s tally held steady at 9,557,061 fans, with Vin Diesel, at 9,747,358, pulling ahead of him to become the first runner-up.
