Former President George W. Bush is inching his way onto the speaking circuit, with an appearance Wednesday evening in northwestern Pennsylvania.
Bush, who had back-to-back engagements last month, is the keynote speaker for an annual meeting of the Manufacturer & Business Association in Erie.
According to the Erie Times-News, more than 1,600 people are set to attend the sold-out event.
Tables of eight sold for between $1,000 and $1,500, though the association would not disclose how much it's paying the former president.
The Erie Times-News reported that Bush's address would focus on his eight years in the White House.
The appearance follows Bush's speech in late May to the Economic Club of Southwestern Michigan. Bush also joined former President Bill Clinton, who's cultivated his own lucrative speaking career since leaving the White House, for a forum in Toronto last month.
