Rare albino hammerhead shark captured on video off Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina

An incredibly rare shark was captured on video.
As I've said far too many times to count, there are few things more interesting and entertaining online than nature content.
Whether it's the uplifting and happy kind or straight from a house of horrors, there's always something to feast your eyes on.

That now includes some absurd shark footage.

Albino shark captured on video.
Johnnie Mercers Pier shared footage this week of an albino hammerhead shark in the waters off of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina.

The Instagram caption speculates the albino shark was somewhere between eight and nine feet long.

WNCT reported that most albino sharks are generally fairly young, and that the crews were not fishing the shark caught on video.

The footage definitely has people surprised, and I don't blame them. It's always neat to see an albino animal in the wild.
