"South Park" co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone mocked President Donald Trump's renaming of Lake Ontario to Lake America, as well as Apple Maps and Google Maps acquiescing to the change, in a statement on Tuesday.

"Inspired by the bravery and patriotism of Apple and Google, we are changing the name of South Park to SOUTH AMERICA. We especially want to thank our parent company Paramount -- a Skydance Capitulation," the statement on X read.

The joke announcement followed the series winning an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program for its 27th season premiere in 2025, which featured Trump in bed with Satan while talking about his alleged Jeffrey Epstein cover-up.

The episode also mocked Trump's settlement with CBS and its parent company Paramount Global, which signed a $1.5 billion deal to stream the animated series on Paramount+ in 2025.

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House, Apple, Google and Paramount for comment.

Trump signed an executive order last month to rename the lake, which sits on the U.S.-Canada border, amid a breakdown in trade agreements between the U.S. and Canada.

"The United States is the greatest protector of the Great Lakes, including the body of water currently known as Lake Ontario," the order stated. "Without the security and investment provided by the United States, this freshwater system would not be open for shipping, recreation, and responsible use to the same extent as it is today."

FOX Business confirmed after the order that both Apple Maps and Google Maps updated their maps to display Lake Ontario as Lake America in response to the order.

Google previously said its Maps service would show "Lake America" to U.S. users after the update, while Canadian users would continue to see "Lake Ontario" and users in other countries would see both names. Apple users from these countries would see similar results.

The companies made similar changes after Trump's executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the "Gulf of America" in 2025.
