It’s All About The Eye… Liners!

They say the eyes are a window to the soul…and in the world of makeup, that means they deserve some amazing window treatments!

One enhancing look that is all the rage and showing no signs of slowing down is eyeliner.

From edgy and seductive, to soft and office appropriate, liner can be part of your everyday look.

But using liner can be a complicated process made more difficult when you are using the wrong products for the look you are trying to achieve.

Let’s figure out what to use and when to use it:

Liquid Liner Perfect For: Cat eye, eye flick and to line your upper lid.

Eyeliner Tips:

When attempting any look with any liner, set your elbow on a flat surface to steady your hand. This will help you to avoid mistakes and prevent you from poking yourself in the eye!

Fix any mistakes with a (clean) lip liner brush dipped in makeup remover. Blot the blunder and wipe away.

When doing a cat eye, always begin with a thinner line. You can add more if needed, but if you start too thick, there is no turning back.

Most liquid liners dry shiny, so if you really want to rock a cat eye but are looking for a softer version, use gel liner.
Keep your eyeliner clean — this is one item you don’t want to be sharing with your girlfriends. Can anyone say eye infection?

Don’t just stick to black! and pick up some inexpensive eyeliners and experiment with color.

Make your liner last all day by layering it with a matching dark shadow. Use this trick on both your lids and waterline.
