18-month-old girl dies after found in pond

An 18-month-old girl has died after she was found in a Cleveland-area pond on Tuesday morning, MyFoxHouston reported.

Relatives found the girl in the pond near the family's home.

The family members contacted authorities and tried to administer CPR to the girl.

The child was taken to the Cleveland Regional Medical Center emergency room where she was later pronounced dead.
