Woman accuses Hilary Duff's ex-husband Mike Comrie of rape

Former NHL player Mike Comrie, the ex-husband of actress Hilary Duff, is under police investigation for sexual battery, an LAPD spokesperson told Fox News Wednesday.
“There is an investigation of an alleged sexual battery of Mike Comrie,” said LAPD Officer Jenny Houser from the Media Relations Division. Houser would release no further details.
A report from TMZ says that the incident happened in Comrie's West Los Angeles condo Saturday night. The alleged victim was someone Comrie claimed to have known a long time and the pair met at a bar before returning to his home with a second woman, TMZ said.
The two women and Comrie allegedly had sex but the alleged victim claims she was raped multiple times and went to a nearby hospital where a rape kit was administered. Comrie claimed the sex was consensual, TMZ said.
Reps for both Comrie and Duff could not be reached for comment.
Comrie, 36, and Duff, 29, amicably divorced last year after six years of marriage. The couple has a son Luca, who was born in 2012. Duff has custody of their son because Comrie's “partying could affect the child,” the judge ruled.
Comrie played professional hockey for 13 years and retired in 2012 from the Pittsburgh Penguins.
