Shia LaBeouf is leaving the United States behind to spend a month isolated in a cabin on Finland’s remote Lapland region. His only communication with the outside world will be coming via text message to visitors at a Helsinki museum.
SHIA LABEOUF ARRESTED OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK MUSEUM
The 30-year-old isn’t preparing for an upcoming movie role. Rather, the latest stunt is for a project called #ALONETOGETHER and will also include two members of the actor’s art collective, Nastja Ronkko and Luke Turner. The duo will also be spending time alone in separate cabins in Lapland beginning Wednesday.
Visitors to the Kiasama museum in Helsinki can visit a cabin and send a text to any of the three members. While they can respond to visitors, the trio cannot talk to one another.
The public can view a livestream of museumgoers and the trio’s texts on the museum’s website.
