In the October issue of Playboy, Samuel L. Jackson explains why he prefers to stay in front of the cameras and out of the director's chair.

"I don’t want to be out there setting up shots all day," said the actor when asked why he never made the transition to directing like his upcoming "Captain America" co-star Robert Redford. "I like to act. I read the script and sign the contract."

Jackson then revealed a few of his favorite movie-trailer pastimes (above).
