Pierson On Resigning: ‘The Media Has Made It Clear That This Is What They Expected’

U.S. Secret Service Director Julia Pierson stepped down today, and as she did, she took a quick jab at the evil media.

“I think it’s in the best interest of the Secret Service and the American public if I step down,” Pierson told Bloomberg News after her resignation was announced by the Department of Homeland Security. “Congress has lost confidence in my ability to run the agency. The media has made it clear that this is what they expected.”
