Never to have an argument with clothes on. Doesn't matter if it's at home or the arena. If you want to fight, you have to be "nekkid." Amazing how many times anger turns to laughter when just a button is unbuttoned.

Of course, a weekly "date night" is also very, very helpful!

The secret to a happy marriage is the fact that we've never had a MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION since we've been married and we never go to bed

angry. One of us always apologizes and the other one says, "That's all right, Jim"!

Our marriage was MADE IN HEAVEN (but so is thunder and lightening). It really seems "just like yesterday" that we got married, and you know what a miserable day yesterday was!

Humor is the mainstay, however some people might say I married Jim for his money (maybe)! He had $18.00 in the bank and I could hardly WAIT to get my hands on it! For the record it's STILL in there!

The other reason for our joy, and the most important, is our spiritual compatibility and a mutual relationship with the Lord. We met in church and the God of forgiveness and "second chances" has blessed us beyond our finite expectations. Four children, nine grandchildren, and two great grands!

We also appreciate your humor, Steve... always uplifting and never compromising. It is appreciated.
