Mother of officer killed by illegal on immigration debate

Mary Ann Mendoza's son was killed by an illegal immigrant in 2014. She’s actively campaigned for the deportation of illegal immigrants, especially those convicted of violent crimes, since his death. On FOX & Friends this morning she shared why she’s now reaching out to GOP candidates for help.

She’s asking for more support from the government to families who’ve lost loved ones because of illegal immigrants. Mendoza argues illegal immigrants receive free resources such as legal aid (Chelsea Clinton even said her mom wants to extend ObamaCare to illegals). In contrast, the government offers little to no support for families victimized by illegal immigrants. You can see the full letter by clicking here.

Sgt. Brandon Mendoza was killed when a drunk driver when an illegal immigrant , Raul Silva-Corona, crashed head on into Sgt. Mendoza’s car. He had been driving down the freeway in the wrong direction. He also had been convicted of crimes before, yet had not been deported. She has previously written a letter to President Obama, seeking stricter laws to block illegal immigrants’ ability to purchase vehicles in the U.S.
