Michele Bachmann Mimics 'Downton Abbey' in Family Portrait

We make no secret about our love for the breakout British period drama "Downton Abbey," but it looks as though our fandom is nothing compared to Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Co.

Bachmann (R-Minnesota) evidently enjoys the show so much that she and her family got their photograph taken in a Crawley-like pose and posted the photo on their social media pages. Bachmann herself even took a break from tweeting her political opinions and uploaded the photo to Twitter on Thursday night:

The Huffington Post (which Bachmann linked to above) first found the photo on Bachmann's daughter Sophia's personal Facebook account, where she captioned the picture with the words "Bachmann Abbey." (And it's a good thing she did, because without it, this picture could have easily been mistaken for "The Bachmanns and the Restless" or "Days of Our Bachmanns.")
