Josh Brolin has checked himself into a Northern California rehab center, according to Us magazine.

"He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," a source told Us.

This comes on the heels of a couple of embarrassing incidents for the "Men in Black 3" actor. Early on Saturday November 2, Brolin was allegedly captured on video engaging in a drunken fistfight with another man outside O'Brien's Irish Pub in Santa Monica, Calif. TMZ reported that the fracas happened at the entrance after closing at 2 a.m. but the pair hugged it out.

The next day Brolin was allegedly caught on camera again getting into a verbal argument with a taxi driver at a Los Angeles Del Taco drive-thru.

When TMZ caught up with the 45-year-old actor the following Monday they asked if he was regretful of the wild weekend he replied, "Absolutely, it won't be happening again," and vowed that he was "completely done" with alcohol.

Brolin and his wife Diane Lane announced earlier this year that they were getting divorced after eight years of marriage.
