Jon Gosselin seeking custody of 11-year-old daughter, report says

Jon Gosselin is seeking custody of his 11-year-old daughter Hannah, reports Us Weekly.

There’s no word why the former reality star is seeking custody of his daughter and not any of his other seven children with ex-wife Kate Gosselin.

Gosselin's attorney Kristen Doleva-Lecher issued a statement to the magazine: "Jon's priority is what is best for the kids... [He will] fight for them. Jon is currently not commenting on the situation. His focus remains on his children."

The couple became famous starring on the TLC show “Jon and Kate Plus 8.” Since their divorce in 2009, Kate has had primary custody of the children and even starred in her own TLC show, “Kate Plus 8.”

Her ex-husband has experienced some financial setbacks, confessing to Extra in November: "The truth is I made some poor financial decisions, but I am living in a home. I've got to figure out who I am. Being a father, devoting my time toward my kids…"

“I’m dating myself right now, he continued. “I don’t even know myself… I’ve always been with a woman. There is no real relationship [with Kate], like we don’t talk. [Co-parenting is] just not working at this point in time. I think we both wanted different things. I wanted to settle down and kind of get off TV for a while… and she wanted to further her career."
