Jennifer Lopez gave fans a throwback moment over the weekend when she joined Taylor Swift on stage in Los Angeles’ Staples Center.
The Nuyorican entertainer became the latest start to join the 22-year-old pop singer on stage during her summer Red Tour.
On the fourth night of Swift’s sold-out L.A. run, she told fans: “You know, when you have your favorite song that you just play over and over … and that you sing in front of your mirror into a hairbrush? And you have that favorite song to dance to? Los Angeles, this is my hairbrush song.”
Enter Jenny From The Block.
With that, Lopez, dressed in a glittery silver jumpsuit and hat, emerged on stage and the pair sang her 2002 hit.
After the concert, Swift went to Twitter: “Sang Jenny From the Block with @JLo tonight at Staples Center. STILL FANGIRLING OUT ABOUT IT.”
Lopez posted two photos on Instagram – one showing a concert poster with her name and another showing several backstage pictures with Swift.
Swift’s growing trend of welcoming surprise guests in the middle of her concerts has included the likes of Ellie Goulding, Tegan & Sara, Sara Bareilles and Chery Lloyd.
