Meanwhile country music star Jake Owen has his fourth studio album out now called “Days of Gold”. He told us it’s a mix of party songs and heartfelt tunes.
“I tend to always have to have my fun kind of ‘full of life’ kind of songs, and then songs that reflect about life..." he told FOX411 Country. “I want to have a good time and I want people that come to my shows to have a good time, and as much as I love the classic deep heartstring pulling songs, you can't get away with going out on stage and doing an hour’s worth of those. So you have to mix in the fun-loving lighthearted songs… the songs that tend to get just trashed by critics, but I don’t care, I just make music because I love it and I’m a fan.”
Owen added that he picked the songs on the album like a fan.
“This record was the first record I made without writing anything on it, usually I write most stuff on my record. So I just sat back and recorded songs that I personally as a fan of music enjoyed."
