Hope you all had a nice holiday weekend and managed to remember our servicemen and women in some special way. Nice to be back. Running around after three toddlers makes for a fun weekend, though not the most relaxing. Speaking of toddlers, sorry about that baby crying during our 6:45 segment on Homeschoolers. Man, I feel their pain. It never fails -- a baby is quiet during the commercial, then wham, the camera light goes on and the wailing begins!

If any of you are homeschooling parents, I'd like to hear your thoughts on Subway excluding you from their contest that would award cash prizes for the best essay written by an elementary school student. Subway's argument is that the $5000 dollars is supposed to go to for sports equipment to the athletic department of a school, which arguably, homeschooled kids don't need. And, on a related note, HOW DO YOU DO IT?? I'm in awe of people who take on their child's education all themselves, beyond all the regular responsibilities of parenting. For the rest of you, do you think Subway is acting fairly? Do you think the homeschoolers boycott will make a dent?
