George Lopez & Ex-Wife Settle on Division of Assets

Breaking up is never easy—especially when you are George Lopez.
The former late night comedian and his ex-wife are still deciding how they will split all of GLO’s cash, despite being divorced for over year, TMZ is reporting.
The new court documents filed in L.A. last week say that Lopez and his former squeeze Ann Serrano decided to split Lopez’s AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) retirement fund 50-50, but only what the star made from 1993-2010, which covers the 17 years that they were married.
No details on how big the wad of cash is in GLO’s retirement fund, but Serrano will sure get a hefty sum, even if Lopez continues to deposit money in the account in the future.
As Fox News Latino previously reported, Lopez and Serrano called it quits back in Thanksgiving 2010. The divorce was finalized in July 2011 and Lopez's TBS “Lopez Tonight” show was canceled a month later.
Serrano Lopez filed her petition, citing irreconcilable difference, but the pair announced they would remain partners in a charitable foundation.
Since splitting with Serrano, GLO has been spotted with new arm candy and has even launched his own dating show “Take Me Out.”
In the show, GLO plays matchmaker with the male suitors who strut their stuff (think dancing, performing in their underwear) in the hopes of attaining the available women on the show.
Lopez is also gearing up to host the 2012 Alma Awards on Sept.16, in Los Angeles with BFF and colleague Eva Longoria.
