"CSI" fans can relax after a botched promo for the CBS show accidentally called for the show's series finale instead of season.

The confusion began when the network ran an on-air promo for the show's "series finale" during an episode of "NCIS."

"We would never cancel a show in a promo five days before broadcast, especially one that has been this important to the Network," executive vice president of communications for the network confirmed to Us Weekly.

"CSI" is currently in its 15 season starring Ted Danson and George Eads.
