She might have received a near perfect score, but it was not enough to keep singer Christina Milian dancing for another week.
Milian and her partner Mark Ballas took to the dance floor for week 5 of “Dancing With The Stars” with a cha cha to Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You.”
They wowed the audience and the judges alike with Len Goodman praising Milian’s “great technique.” Bruno Tonioli said she “painted a perfect picture of a hot Latina,” while Carrie Ann Inaba said her performance was “something special,” adding that her “technique was on fire.”
The scores went as followed: Inaba and Tonioli gave a pair of nines while Goodman gave the dancing duo its first 10 of the season.
But a score of 28 combined with fan votes from last week was not enough.
Milian was joined in the bottom three by actresses Leah Remini and Elizabeth Berkley – fueling fire to the drama. Remini, who scored a 22 after dancing a contemporary with partner Tony Dolovani, seemed to by ready to be sent packing, but it was Milian who got the boot.
“True shock,” said a clearly disappointed Milian. “Wasn’t expecting that. We had obviously the best performance that we’ve had thus far. I wouldn’t want to leave any other note but this way.”
She said: “It’s been amazing. If you take a great challenge and risk, you become a better person.”
Joining Berkley and Remini next week are actor Corbin Bleu, actress-singer Amber Riley, comedian Bill Engvall, actor Brant Daugherty, reality starlight Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and reality star Jack Osborne.
“Dancing With The Stars” continues Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
