An audition on "American Idol" Wednesday night touched the judges – and nearly left them in tears.

Milwaukee contestant Chris Medina, who sang "Break Even," told the world about his fiancée, Juliana Ramos.

Medina's wife-to-be was in a car accident that left her with brain damage two months before they were to be married.

“What kind of guy would I be if I walked out when she needed me the most?” Medina said.

Script lead singer Mark Sheehan, who sings "Break Even," was touched and tweeted his own kudos to Chris' audition Wednesday night:

“Chris Medina: Not only R U a major talent but U R 1 in a billion!” Sheehan post. “Stay Strong, Never waver, This world needs more MEN like U. Peace+Love, Mark.”
