Blake Lively Spends 7 Hours in Bed with WHO?!

Whether it’s gulping down mugs of creamy eggnog, stuffing your face with glazed ham, or unwrapping all the gifts you’ll soon ignore by the New Year, everyone has a beloved holiday tradition. However, in the case of Blake Lively, she likes to keep it simple … and crowded.

“Christmas is really just about being with family so we never leave the house,” says the 27-year-old actress, who is expecting her first child with husband, 38-year-old actor Ryan Reynolds, in an interview with The Kit.

“We’re together all day whether we’re making gingerbread houses or making cookies or sitting around watching movies, all piled up,” says Lively to the publication.

Sounds pretty average, right? Except Lively prefers to have everyone get together in one particular spot that others would prefer keeping to themselves.

“I don’t know how my family does this, but everybody gets in the same bed, somehow we just spend seven hours a day just chatting, it’s really nice to have that time,” dishes the former “Gossip Girl” leading lady.

And what gets Lively really excited, aside from having everyone hanging out on one bed? A familiar scent, of course.

“To me the smell of Christmas is spruce, because growing up in California, when those candles would come out, it was the only way that we got any kind of a winter,” she says. “Cookies I get year round, pine I only get at Christmas.”

And speaking of sweets, this isn’t the first time Lively has touched on her envious non-diet. Back in October 2013, the now-expecting mother told that she pretty much just looks amazing without any help.

When asked how she maintains her slim figure, Lively explained, “I don’t! I’m lucky enough to lead a very active life, so I’m always on the go. I don’t really need a personal trainer, or watch what I eat. I can’t start the day without a hot chocolate, or finish it without a few squares of dark chocolate. It’s good for my mood!”

Ugh.

Well, we have no doubt Lively is enjoying plenty of chocolaty goodness during her pregnancy.

As for the cozy bedroom gathering? StyleCaster.com does make one interesting point: “If we were married to Ryan Reynolds we would try to concoct extra ways to spend time in bed, too.”
